An art student travels to Osaka, Japan. There he finds himself trapped in awkward situations, confusing classes, and comically small spaces.
Hilarity ensues.
just my advice for traveling to the east, you can probably cut out toiletries all together to save yourself from carrying around extra shit. Honest to god it very cheap and they have an abundance of it there. I suggest bringing a bar of soap and thats probably really all you need because they definately have better stuff there you can get.
Also I forgot sweaters and jackets... two heavy sweaters, two light, one rain jacket, one non-rain jacket. We'll see how this pans out when I actually have to fit all this stuff together.

same goes with art supplies. They have better pens and pencils and stuff for probably half the price of what we pay for it here.
and to prove my point: here are pics from my taiwan trip. I imagine its 100 times this in Japan:

Thanks Tiff! I'll probably just bring a sketchbook and a few pens to tide me over + soap and deodorant.
I'm very excited to see what kinds of fancy pens they have there, what with all the manga-making and what have you.

Take the PSP, Japan loves those things as much as America loves its precious DS. America is so silly....
Poor facial hair...
